Biography

In the early to mid 1990's in my youth I played representive age group cricket for my province (county) and was fortunate to be coached cricket by some of the best cricket coaches in the world - Bob Woolmer, Gary Kirsten, and Eric Simons. After high school, I moved to Sydney, Australia in the late 1990's and played Premier Grade cricket as well as coached Junior Cricket at St. Paul's Grammar School, Penrith, Sydney, NSW, Australia (current Australian Cricket Captain, Pat Cummins attended St. Paul's Grammar School and played in the U9's while I was coaching there!).

I qualified as an ECB Level 2 cricket coach in 2022, and achieved my Level 3 certification through the CoachED - Gary Kirsten Cricket Academy in 2025. I also have a Certificate in Sports Performance Analysis from Northumbria University, Newcastle, 2023. I am currently working towards my Elite Level 4 cricket coaching certification.

I started my own private professional cricket coaching academy, DAP Cricket, in 2025, based in Cheshire, UK. I use indoor cricket facilities for coaching at the King's School, Macclesfield; and Saint Ambrose College, Hale, Altrincham. I am the Head Coach of the Academy & Juniors at Toft Cricket Club, and also coach privately at Toft Cricket Club, Cheshire, UK.
