On Bank Holiday Monday the 3XI finished the group stage in their T20 competition with a tight victory over Haslington making it 3 wins from 3. Haslington winning the toss and batting first Toft lost early wickets before Captain Will Dunkerley and Mark Nightingale steadied the ship, the latter finishing on 31* as Toft closed on 101-6. Haslington also lost early wickets in reply, their captain the only one to make a noticeable contribution (38) before he was well caught by Dunkerley at mid-wicket. Dan Gibbon, George Muirhead and Mark Nightingale sharing the wickets as Haslington closed on 90-9. Toft now await the draw for the Quarter Final stage.
